Product description
DeWalt High Torque Impact Wrench | 18V XR | DCF900 Bare Unit
This powerful impact wrench from DeWalt replaces their previous generation DCF899, keeping the same body, but improving all the internals. The DCF900 has a maximum output of 1 horsepower (760 Watts), making it the most powerful 1/2" impact wrench available today. This is the body only version, which is supplied without batteries, case or charger. This keeps it cheaper for those who already own 18V XR powertools, as the batteries and chargers are all inter-compatible.
The new breakaway torque of this model is 1898Nm, and the maximum fastening torque is 1396Nm. This is thanks in part to the newer technology used in the brushless DC motor, as well as the supporting components such as the electronics module, and not forgetting the gearbox and impact mechanism. The new control board has two buttons, one controls the intensity of the onboard LED work light, and the other allows you to set the power mode. You can also use this to enable Precision Wrench mode. Precision Wrench mode drives at full speed until it starts impacting, where it will pause for 750ms, before impacting at full rate. In reverse, Precision Wrench mode reverses in full speed/full impact until it detects the bolt or nut break loose, where it reduces the speed, allowing you to catch the bolt before dropping.
Features:
New Precision Wrench mode allows for a smarter tool.
PW mode pauses briefly before tightening at full speed.

Operates from a single 18 Volt XR Li-ion battery.
